I’m a mom of seven, including two sets of twins, and now that they’re all grown, they’re still the greatest joy of my life. Those early days were a whirlwind, and they gave me a deep appreciation for the ups and downs of motherhood-something I love connecting with other moms about. For relaxation, I love nothing more than sitting on my front porch and getting lost in a great historical fiction novel or walking my dogs around my neighborhood. I’m a big fan of traveling and am always excited for any opportunity to travel and explore new places with my husband and children.
As I muddled through the early weeks with my newborns, I certainly experienced many uncertainties along the way. One such memory still brings back strong emotions. As I sat in my car, watching through the window my husband and children gathered around the dinner table, I felt unable to go into my home. My infant twins were just weeks old and the sense of an inability to cope, was overwhelming in that moment. I truly could have used a compassionate listening ear and the comforting presence of someone who truly understood - exactly the kind of support a postpartum doula provides.
When I look back on that time, I’m filled with tenderness for the Mom I was and wish for her to have had a postpartum doula by her side for the unconditional support she needed. This is what drives my passion to support new mothers.

I found my postpartum experience to be an unpredictable one, full of ups and downs and so many questions. Often times what’s needed is just a listening ear to hold space for you to voice your concerns and wishes for this precious time in your life - your newborns fourth trimester. Knowing this, my goal is to make sure your family is set up for success and feels confident and supported in the weeks after baby's birth. As well as educating, by providing evidence-based support, I truly love watching families grow and gain confidence during this tender time. With your postpartum doula, you will have that listening, empathetic ear and someone in your corner reminding you of your strengths and celebrating your successes. You are not alone in this parenting journey- with a doula by your side it becomes a collaborative process-your thoughts and concerns are always heard.

She is also incredibly experienced and knowledgeable and always gave very helpful tips and advice related to our infant’s sleeping and eating schedule.
